Dear valued Stallholder,

If you participated in this year’s A Taste of the Huon festival, a huge thank you from the Committee.  Unfortunately, due to inclement weather on Sunday many of you would have experienced a downturn in trading, hopefully Monday was another story and business was strong.

My idea to continue trading and entertainment through to 7pm was also ruined by the weather conditions, the committee have now decided to cease trading at 5pm on Sunday and 4pm on Monday.

We invite you back to the 2024 festival, and with positive comments flowing regarding this year’s event I’m sure next year will be very successful.

We have secured bookings for Bjorn Again, Abba group,  and the Wolfe Brothers, their performances will be on Sunday, two very passionate, professional, bands that will attract huge crowds.

The rebranding of A Taste of the Huon, to a Food, Wine, and Music festival, has certainly lifted the profile of the festival and the future development going forward.

I look forward to catching up with you at the Stall-holders meeting (time to be made) and please remember it is compulsory to attend, your stall sites will be allocated on this night.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank my committee on your behalf for their ongoing support of the festival, they are Volunteers, and spend many hours of their time to keep the festival alive.

Gareth and Sam deserve meaningful accolades, they were on a mission and certainly fulfilled everything that was asked of them, well done and thank you.

Warmest Regards

Rosemary Bennett OAM

President, A Taste of the Huon Committee
