Harvest to Home stalls celebrate the harvests and small-scale producers of the Huon Valley and Channel. These stalls offer produce and products intended for visitors to take home, such as fresh fruit and vegetables, jams, chutneys, sauces, honey, preserves, plants, and herbs.
Bee Queens is a groundbreaking 12-month beekeeping program empowering women in a traditionally male-led industry. Based in the Huon Valley since 2022, they've made global impact—leading two world records that contributed to the establishment of International Day of Women in Beekeeping. Meet program graduates, learn about this unique initiative, and taste delicious local honey and honey products crafted by Bee Queens members.
Arad produces his speciality products at Five Bob Farm in Birchs Bay and is passionate about using local ingredients, including walnuts, blueberries and native pepper. His products are based on variations on the traditional Persian recipes of his Mother. He has arrived in Tasmania after a long and difficult journey from his native Iran, and has established a much-loved market business, seen weekly at Salamanca and Farm Gate Market.
Lil' Lizzies Kitchen creates jams, chutneys, relish sauces, cakes and biscuits the good old- fashioned way, full of fresh rich, nostalgic flavour. Proudly supporting local farms across the Huon area, including Willie Smith's, The Green Cherry Shed, Honey Pot & Wolfe’s Berry Farm. Lil' Lizzies Kitchen brings a taste of the Huon with homegrown goodness to every jar and bake.
Marcelle and Kristoff are fourth-generation farmers growing lavender in the Huon Valley. They hand-harvest and small-batch steam distill on-site, then rest their oils to deepen their aroma. Qualified aromatherapist Marcelle formulates their award-winning lavender oil and kid-safe blends. Every product is crafted from planting to bottling, simple, truthful and kind to both people and place.
Lucaston Park Orchards is a fifth-generation family farm in Lucaston, nestled in Tasmania’s Huon Valley. Visit their stall for fresh apples and raspberries, plus a range of local fruit juices. At 7 Goose Grove - Organic Olive Oil, they're all about keeping things simple. Their trees grow happily in the foothills of Mt Cygnet, soaking up the sunshine, rain and goodness from the soil. Basically, they just let Tasmania do its thing. A very small family business, they've always chosen quality over quantity—no irrigation or chemicals, just small yields producing an exquisite oil.
Eros Pet Treats is a Tasmanian business offering handcrafted, 100% natural meat and seafood treats, ethically sourced from Tasmanian farms and pristine fisheries. For A Taste of the Huon, they're featuring apples and salmon from the Huon Valley. Each piece is carefully hand-prepared by Chef Markella and gently air-dried in small batches, locking in flavour and nutrition to ensure pets receive some of the finest natural treats Tasmania has to offer.
