Since 1992, Built by Community

A Taste of the Huon is predominantly volunteer-run and proudly managed by a passionate community dedicated to celebrating the Huon Valley and D'Entrecasteaux Channel region. As a not-for-profit association, we are guided by a volunteer Committee and supported by our members, along with a small team of professional contractors in specialist roles to ensure the festival's success.

At the heart of the event are our incredible volunteers—local community groups, organisations, and individuals who generously donate their time to bring the festival to life. Together, we're more than a team—we're a community united by our love for this region and our commitment to sharing it with visitors from near and far.
