Pink Buns
Pink Buns brings a vibrant fusion of Asian methods and Western techniques to A Taste of the Huon, transforming classic cuisine into modern culinary art. All their Bao Buns are lovingly handmade with natural phytochemicals and are free from artificial colours. This year, Pink Buns is proud to showcase their signature Huon Valley Lavender Bao Bun, highlighting the beautiful local lavender from our region.
Love Thy Lava
A family-run business from the Huon Valley, creating unique hand-burnt designs on wool and vegan suede hats—no lasers, all original—plus stunning crystal-beaded jewellery. Joining in is Noah, 10, who built his own brand of quirky T-shirts featuring his fun cartoon designs. The apple and Tassie devil are crowd favourites! Authentic, handmade, and proudly Tasmanian.
Tassie Sweet and Savoury Stix
Tassie Sweet and Savoury Stix is a Tasmanian-owned business passionate about using local produce. At A Taste of the Huon, they're serving their famous twisted potatoes with a new smaller kids’ size. This year, they're featuring gourmet seasoning choices from Channel-based Smoked Salts Tasmania, including Pepperberry, Lemon Pepper, Truffle and Garlic—a tasty treat for the whole family.
Pavlova
PavLovas serves handmade pavlovas topped with their own small-batch sauces and seasonal toppings, finished with fresh regional fruit including Cygnet strawberries and Huon Valley blueberries. Their pavlovas are made with Tasmanian free-range eggs and are gluten-free—a sweet crowd favourite.
Satinwood Creations
Satinwood Creations is a producer of leather goods from the Huon Valley. Every piece is handmade, hand sewn and designed by Christine utilising only full grain cow and kangaroo leather. Christine produces a large range of products that includes purses, handbags, bracelets, belts plus one of her favourites, lots of costume masks and so much more.
Pure Mist Gin
Pure Mist from Geeveston is a multi-award-winning water and gin producer with a focus on 'Mist Water Extraction' in the winter months of the Huon Valley. They are twice winner (2023 and 2025) of the Fine Water Society's World's Best Sparkling Water. They are winner of the 2025 International Water Tasting Competition Guangzhou and winner of the 2024 Distilled Spirits Awards for their Lemon Myrtle, Mediterranean and Raspberry straight gins and G and T, Raspberry Gin and Lemonade premixed products.
Canopy Ice Cream
Handcrafted in Tasmania, Canopy turns the best local ingredients into small-batch flavours that celebrate the seasons. This year, they're presenting two signature Huon Valley flavours: Blueberry & Lavender made with organic blueberries from Something from the Ground (Mountain River) and lavender from Campo de Flori (Glen Huon), and Apple Brandy infused with Willie Smith's Apple Brandy (Grove). Every element is rooted in the region - from hand-harvested lavender to artisanal spirits. More than dessert; they're a spoonful of the Huon Valley.
L’appel Wines
L’appel Wines is the wine project of emerging Tasmanian vignerons Bart Johnston and Jess Nuel. Sourcing fruit from highly regarded plots around Tasmania, including the Huon Valley, regional expression is at the core of the L’appel suite. Their winemaking is light-handed, with wild-fermented, unfiltered wines.
Huon Valley Lavender Farm
Marcelle and Kristoff are fourth-generation farmers growing lavender in the Huon Valley. They hand-harvest and small-batch steam distill on-site, then rest their oils to deepen their aroma. Qualified aromatherapist Marcelle formulates their award-winning lavender oil and kid-safe blends. Every product is crafted from planting to bottling, simple, truthful and kind to both people and place.
Chilean Cuisine Tassie
Chilean Cuisine Tassie brings the authentic flavours of Chile to Tasmania with their delicious handmade empanadas. This family of six crafts traditional pastries using fresh Tasmanian ingredients. From the classic Pino carne to vegetarian and vegan options, they offer something for every palate. This year, they're featuring cheese from The Bruny Island Cheese Co. in their signature beef and cheese empanadas, delivering a taste of South American culinary heritage with a local twist.
Totally Rusty
Totally Rusty is a family-owned business devoted to handmade craftsmanship. All of our pieces begin as hand-drawn designs and are individually cut by hand with a plasma cutter—giving every item its own unique character.
Fancy Freeze Tasmania
Fancy Freeze Tasmania is a proud Huon Valley business capturing the pure taste of Tasmania in every bite. Using locally grown, organic Huon Valley fruit—much of it from their own orchard—they craft premium freeze-dried products that celebrate the region's natural abundance. Alongside fruit, they offer freeze-dried Tasmanian ice cream and a playful range of freeze-dried lollies, showcasing the freshness, creativity and vibrant spirit of the Huon Valley.
Willie Smith's Cider
Willie Smith's Tasmanian is proudly rooted in the heart of the Huon Valley, where four generations of the Smith family have grown apples in the region's rich soil and cool climate. Every cider they make is crafted on-site, from tree to can. Their apples travel only 27 steps from orchard to press, allowing them to capture the freshness, flavour and honesty of Huon Valley fruit. They draw on their values of community, nature, connection and folklore to produce ciders that are unmistakably Tasmanian.
Lucaston Park Orchards
Lucaston Park Orchards is a fifth-generation family farm in Lucaston, nestled in Tasmania’s Huon Valley. Visit their stall for fresh apples and raspberries, plus a range of local fruit juices. Everything on offer is made using local produce sourced just around the corner in Lucaston, true harvest-to-home freshness.
Lost Captain Restaurant & Taphouse
A local Huon business using local ingredients and staff to deliver an innovative experience for customers. Through their partnership with Spekle Park beef farm in North Huon, they showcase premium products using their specially designed smoked meat trailer. Vegan and vegetarian options are also available through support from Cygnet Garden Larder.
Phoenix Creations
Phoenix Creations ethically source timber locally and create in their studio in Cygnet. They hope to inspire and educate people about traditional carving techniques, the cultural heritage of green wood carving, and how artists can create with a low environmental impact. Their line includes hand-carved wooden spoons, other utensils, kuksas, bowls and boxes, wall art, pendants and earrings.
Pagan Cider
Pagan Cider began in 2012 from a small home brewing operation. Their ethos is to produce ciders that highlight the Huon Valley and its fruits. They came out with one of the first all-natural cherry ciders in the country, the Cerise or simply cherry cider, which is made completely from Huon Valley cherries, with no added sugars. Alongside their other core ciders, the Apple, Pear and Blueberry, Pagan Cider also enjoys creating seasonal ciders such as Quince, Raspberry and Plum to again highlight what's on offer and what is possible from their amazing region and Tasmania.
Strawberry Delight
Strawberry Delight loves strawberries, especially from Cygnet, and makes them the star of their van. Who doesn't love a loaded cup of strawberries with Nutella, ice cream and cream, or strawberry sauce, sliced strawberries, ice cream and nacho waffles? They offer strawberry ice cream, strawberry loaded shakes made with Tasmanian milk, and of course their other ice cream flavours all topped with fresh strawberries.
Tasmanian Gourmet Seafoods
Tasmanian Gourmet Seafoods is proud to showcase their premium wild-caught fish and lobster, landed at Dover, along with East Coast scallops and squid at A Taste of the Huon 2026. Their menu features award-winning fish and chips, as well as crowd favourites such as pepperberry squid and crunchy taste-size beer-battered lobster pops. Fresh, local seafood at its finest.
